We continue to believe that a quiet beach house is just what the doctor ordered right now.
Our homes remain open for business and we are hopeful that all will be able to enjoy their upcoming vacation.  

UPDATED 7/15/2020: Gov. Ivey just announced that Alabama beaches will open at 5 PM on April 30, 2020!  Beaches will reopen with no gatherings of 10 people or more allowed. People must maintain 6 feet of separation.

At Relax on the Beach, the health and well-being of our guests and team are our top priority and we want to reassure you of the diligence of our approach. We are closely monitoring the daily changing government guidelines and following their instructions accordingly.  


 We would like to reassure you that our team is committed to maintaining the highest levels of cleanliness including sanitation and disinfection.   Property owners can find additional resource on our updated property owners page.


Additionally, we realize this is a fluid situation, and the time may come that you need to cancel or postpone your vacation.  To ensure good will and good health, we are initiating our Extenuating Circumstances Policy governing cancelations. The policy is outlined below.

Relax On The Beach's Extenuating Circumstances Policy

  • Reservations made on or before March 14, 2020 for stays with a check-in date between March 14, 2020 and May 15, 2020, are covered by the policy and may be cancelled before check-in. Guests who cancel will receive a full refund, minus the $150 processing fee.
  • The $150 processing fee is used to pay our reservations agents to schedule your booking, coordinate the greeters, schedule maintenance and cleans. We then need them remain open in order to process your refund. We hope you understand.
  • At this time, our usual cancellation policy will apply to reservations made after March 14, 2020, and to reservations made on or before March 14, 2020 with check-in dates after May 15, 2020. 
  • If a reservation has already begun (the check-in has passed) this extenuating circumstance does not apply.

Are you open?

Yes, we are open! Our hours are 9 AM to 5 PM central time. We can be reached by phone (251) 269-6766 or email We are experiencing very heavy call and email volume so we appreciate your patience.  

Are you accepting bookings? 

Absolutely! You may book directly on line at or by calling (251) 269-6766. Be sure and book directly with Relax on the Beach to avoid 3rd party fees.

Can we still come for our vacation?

We would love that! Alabama beaches are currently closed until at least April 30 but we would be more than happy to provide a list of non-beach activities for you and your family. Some homes have private pools and some community pools are still open.  

Can I move my vacation dates?

You may move your reservation to another day at no additional change. If the cost for the new dates is greater, you'll be required to pay the difference in price.  

Can I cancel my vacation?

Currently, you may cancel your reservation if your check-in date is prior to May 15, 2020. Guests who cancel will receive a full refund minus a $150 processing fee. Please email your cancellation request to This will be the fastest way for you to get your refund. 

Why is there a $150 processing fee?

This fee is used to pay the reservations agents that schedule your reservations. They also coordinate the greeters and schedule maintenance and cleans. We then need them to keep the lights on in order to receive your cancellation request and process any refund. We hope you understand.

If I move my vacation, can I stay in a different property?

Of course! If the new property is priced higher, you'll simply pay the difference.  

What are you doing to clean rentals?

Our cleaners are spending extra time cleaning and disinfecting our properties, paying special attention to flat surfaces and "frequent touch" surfaces such as knobs, remotes, switches, etc.
