At Relax on the Beach we strive to make your vacation rental stay as enjoyable as possible! It all begins at home with your online booking experience. After the balance of your vacation has been paid, you will receive a final instructions email with information and directions. Your lockbox code will be texted or emailed to you on your day of arrival. Remember to download our very own Relax on the Beach App. We’ll email a link or look for it in Google Play or the iTunes store. 


Q:  What is the easiest way to book a Relax on the Beach vacation? 

A:  Directly online!  Our website is available 24 hours a day.  We use the latest technology to process your reservations, secure your payment and get you relaxing!  When your reservation is paid in full, be sure to download our Relax on the Beach App.  From Wi-Fi codes to Lockbox codes, from surf conditions to the region's best restaurants, it's the best way to make sure you know everything about your stay! 


Q:  How do I sign up for your weekly Beach Nut eBlasts? 

A:  Go to our home page and click on the Sign Up For Specials News Tab! 


Q:  What is the deposit required to make a reservation? 

A:  We require $250 initial credit card payment to make a reservation.  You will NOT be charged a credit card processing fee for this initial transaction.  This is an initial payment on your total balance owed.  It is not a refundable deposit. 


Q:  What is your cancellation policy? 

A: Cancellations must be made 60 or more days prior to your check-in date. Written (email) notice is required to cancel your reservation. Reservations canceled 60 days or more prior to the check-in date will be eligible for a refund of deposits paid, minus a $150.00 cancellation fee. Relax On The Beach will not accept cancellation requests with fewer than 60 days prior to the check-in date. All payments will be forfeited if a cancellation notice is received after the 60-day notice date. 


Relax On The Beach reserves the right to rent the unit to a different group if your reservation is not paid in full by the payment due date.


Cancellations occurring due to lack of total payment by the due date will result in forfeiture of the initial payment plus any rent, taxes, and fees paid.


 Q:  Is there a security deposit? 

A:  Yes and No.  If you are under 25 years of age, we WILL collect a security deposit in the amount of your entire rental.  If you are 25 years of age or over, the credit card we have on file is your security deposit. 


Q:  Where do I pick up my key? 

A:  All of our homes are equipped with lockboxes.  Once your balance in paid in full, your code will be emailed or texted to you on your day of arrival.  Be sure to download our Relax on the Beach App to get all secure lockbox information. 


Q:  Can I bring a pet? 

A:  Absolutely!  Many of our properties are pet-friendly.  Relax on the Beach charges $100 per pet, limit two.  Please review our pet policy under the Pet Policy tab on our website. 


Q:  Can I bring my pets ON the beach? 

A:  Many of Relax on the Beach properties are pet friendly.  However, Gulf Shores and Orange Beach both have city ordinances prohibiting animals on the beach.  Pets are also not permitted in Bon Secour National Wildlife Refuge.  You may search locations where pets are allowed by visiting the Gulf Shores website.  Pets are allowed on the beach in Morgantown and everywhere on St. George Island except the state park. 


Q:  What time is check in?  Check out? 

A:  Check in is at 4 PM, check out is at 10 AM. 


Q:  Do you take credit cards? 

A:  Yes, Relax on the Beach accepts Visa, MasterCard, Discover and American Express.  Credit or debit card payments (after the initial credit card payment of $250) are subject to a 3% convenience fee.  If you use your checking or savings account and pay via Echeck, there is no fee.  We do not accept cash. 


Q:  Are there beach toys in the unit? 

A:  We cannot guarantee that there will be beach toys at the property.  These toys can be purchased inexpensively at many of the local shops.  Often, guests leave toys behind for the next group to enjoy. 


Q:  Do you offer Travel Insurance?

A:  Travel insurance is available through Travel Guard.   You can find out more about Travel Insurance by clicking here or by calling Travel Guard at (877) 249-5376.





Q:  What are the fees associated with your rentals? 

A:  All rentals carry a housekeeping fee and a processing fee.  Sales tax varies according to location.  Credit card transactions (after the initial credit card payment of $250) are subject to a 3% convenience fee.  


Q:  What if I have a problem during my stay? 

A:  Please email yand our request will be forwarded directly to our maintenance department for review and handling.  In an emergency, you should contact Guest Services at 251-269-6766, Option 2.  If you have downloaded the Relaxonthebeach App to your phone or computer, you can also fill out the Fix It Form and Guest Services will contact you. 


Q:  Do I need to clean before I depart? 

A:  Please take out the trash, remove all food from the refrigerator, freezer, pantry and cupboards, and run the dishwasher.  For complete departure information, please refer to your final instructions. 


Q:  What can I expect from the property?

A:  All Relax on the Beach properties come equipped with high speed internet access, cable or satellite television, central heat and air, fresh linens and bath towels.  We also provide starter amenities, to include:  soap, shampoo,  dishwasher detergent, a roll of paper towels, one trash bag per container and one roll of toilet tissue per bathroom. 


Q:  What if I leave stuff behind? 

A:  Call Guest Services at 251-269-6766, Option 2.  If we are able to locate the item, we'll authorize a credit card number and will arrange to have it shipped back to your home. 


Q:  Are the pools heated? 

A:  The only pools which are heated are the indoor pools located in some of the condominiums. 


Q:  What is the property address? 

A:  The address and a link for directions can be found on the web site or can be found in your final instructions, which you will receive once you have made final payment on your reservation. 


Q:  Are your prices negotiable? 

A:  Depending on the season and depending on supply and demand.  It is our goal to book all of our properties 100% of the time.  We are always looking to make you a good deal.  We want you to come back! 


Q:  Can I book online? 

A:  Yes, you can book directly online via our secure website.  If you are under 25, please call 251-269-6755 to make a reservation.  We do not take online bookings from anyone under 25 years of age. 


Q:  Do I get a parking pass? 

A:  A maximum of two parking passes will be issued for those condominiums that require them.  Most homes have ample off street parking for 3-4 vehicles. 


Q:  What if I damage something? 

A:  Please let us know as soon as you can.  


Q:  Do I have to return furnishings to their original location? 

A:  Absolutely!  We have stock photos of each property for our housekeepers and for quality control.  Please return furniture and bedding to its original location, or you may incur extra cleaning charges. 


Q:  Is there a grill? 

A:  We cannot guarantee a grill at all properties.  At some properties, grills on decks are prohibited by the fire code. The use of outdoor fish deep fryers is prohibited at all properties.  



Q:  What does it mean when I see "Leave Only Footprints Behind"? 

A;  Effective in 2016, the cities of Gulf Shores and Orange Beach ask that you please remove all your personal items from the beach one hour after the sunset.  Pack up the beach chairs, gather the beach toys, fold and carry out the tent, and recycle or throw away all trash in a designated receptacle.  All abandoned items will be removed for the protection of our beaches, local wildlife, and the many visitors we want to enjoy our clean coast for generations to come.
